Birthright Israel will host its inaugural Taglit Global Business Summit in Tel Aviv from November 1 to 3.
The organization has operated since 1999, bringing nearly one million young adults from 70 countries to the region. Its activities have added approximately $2.6 billion to the Israeli economy over 26 years through travel and local spending. A March 2026 study by Brandeis University noted that political liberal young Jewish adults who participated in the program showed a 60% increase in connection to Israel, compared to a 26% decline among non-participants.
The summit marks the first major business-focused event in the group’s history. Organizers expect more than 350 attendees, including investors, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists. Over 100 participants will travel from more than 15 countries, such as Argentina, Australia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. Gidi Mark, the Global CEO, described the event as a natural extension of the mission. He stated that bringing global leaders to Israel is a powerful statement of confidence in its future.
The schedule begins on November 1 with a gala evening honoring key supporters. President Isaac Herzog is expected to address the crowd alongside Dr. Miriam Adelson, a long-standing supporter. Other prominent figures include Meir Shamir, chairman of the Israeli Board of Donors, and Josh Nash, international chairman of Birthright Israel. Corporate representatives from NVIDIA, Wiz, Elbit Systems, El Al, and monday.com will also attend the opening session.
The main conference runs on November 2, featuring speakers from technology, finance, and public life. Sir Ronald Cohen, co-founder of Apax Partners, and Eyal Waldman, founder of Mellanox, are among the headline speakers. Yinon Costica, co-founder of Wiz, and Sean Rad, founder of Tinder, will also present. The agenda includes Avinatan Or, an NVIDIA engineer released after 738 days in captivity, and Moran Samuel, a Paralympic basketball player and world champion rower. Ethy Levy, Vice President of Global Resource Development, said a conversation at the event could become a business partnership or an investment.
On November 3, attendees will visit Israeli companies and innovation centers. They will also volunteer alongside current program participants and meet communities supported since October 7. The summit builds on the group’s existing Business Forum, which currently connects nearly 60 Israeli companies.
The event takes place at the Hilton Tel Aviv. The program is designed to facilitate direct interactions between international stakeholders and local business leaders. The organization views this three-day gathering as the first of a new series of global business summits.
